This is the 28th time the mission movement Christian Surfers Australia has gathered together as a tribe. So as you’re stuffing your board-bag and searching around for your favourite pair of jocks, crew from every part of Oz – and a few surf missos from other parts of the globe – will be doing the same. And we’ll all have a quiet anticipation rising, cos we know “…how good and pleasant it is when [CS crew] dwell together in unity” (Ps 133:1).
The point isn’t where you’re from, it’s not even what kind of board you ride or whether you’ve been to much CS stuff before. The point is that you’re a surfer and that you view yourself as ‘salt’ in the Aussie surf community. So whether you’re a stalwart leader, a soul surfer, a frothing grom or a crusty old-salt looking to have your fire rekindled – here’s your invitation to come get stoked outta yer noggin!
Pay the registration fee, and write down payment reference number. There are 2 options to pay:
a) Bank Deposit (Single $375, Couple $700, Family $750 includes 1 grom aged 2-17, add $50 for any extra)

Japan outreach This year our short term outreach to
Japan consisted of a conglomeration of CSA
members, CSJ members and USA based
organization Walking On Water (WOW)
members. Our primary role was to identify
and connect with the local surfers through
surfing, with the purpose of introducing them
to the love and salvation that can only be
offered through Jesus. Full report (PDF)
New Surfers Bible (New Testament NLT) includes a free DVD, featuring a surfing documentary shot on a surfing trip to Nias in Indonesia in mid-2007.
The DVD features top-line surfers, including WCT surfer Glyndyn Ringrose, one-armed wonder woman Bethany Hamilton, bodyboarder Brendan Newton, longboarders Brad Whittaker and Kiwi Kirk Beyer, along with American Fuel TV ‘On Surfari’ couple Shayne and Shannon McIntyre and Hawaiian up-and-comer Kahana Kalama. 100 surfers forming the shape of a cross at dawn on Easter sunday under God's awesome sunrise glory is an impressive sight and a great reminder of what it's all about.
