CSA Girls Converge for Camp under Rainbows
75 girls of all ages converged at Delicate Campground, Crescent Head on 9th - 11th July for the first interstate CSA girls camp of its kind.
Leading up to the camp, organiser and Nth NSW Regional Coordinator, Lillie Leet wasn’t sure if the camp would be able to proceed with over 40 girls unable to attend due to COVID restrictions across parts of NSW, QLD and VIC.
In addition, wet weather was forecast and a shark bite incident occurred the week prior to the camp at Crescent Head point.
In spite of these challenges, Lillie and the team pressed on and the camp went ahead. Over the course of the weekend they were blessed with more rainbows than rain and camp speaker, Megan Smith of Coffs CS, provided encouraging stories each morning with the girls inspiring them to walk in relationship with their Creator.
For some, this was their first Christian Surfers experience - enjoying epic community time through small groups, surfing adventures and camping together.
